Over the years the stockholders have acquired multiple entities including Western Excavating and InFocus Homes. This position will handle all financial duties for each of the companies.

Job position description:

We are looking for a full-time Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate is someone with 10+ years in a senior financial leadership role with excellent analytical, reasoning, problem-solving, and people skills. Salary is dependent on experience with yearly bonus opportunities.

Duties:

  • Strategy, Planning and Management.
  • Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • Accounting, General Ledger, Administration and Operations.
  • Financial Management.
  • Financial Relations and Policies.
  • Cash Management.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; master's degree preferred.
  • CPA, CMA, or master's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 6 years minimum experience in a senior financial leadership role.
  • 10+ years total accounting or finance experience; construction industry experience preferred.
  • Outstanding knowledge and understanding of GAAP reporting.
  • Background coordinating with I.T. staff to manage and/or upgrade accounting systems; systems implementation experience strongly preferred.
  • Sage Accounting software experience preferred.
  • Excel and Word experience required; relational database experience preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence – ability to motivate staff and work well with others.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
