This is a permanent position in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment, offering a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in our organization. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including financial forecasting, strategic planning, and risk management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, with a particular emphasis on the manufacturing industry, preferably in aerospace.Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organization including budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, long-range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans for the company's growth and profitability.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors, stakeholders, and executive team.
• Evaluate and manage the company's financial risks and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other executive leaders to make high-level decisions regarding company policy and strategy.
• Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction.
• Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
• Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
• Implement operational best practices and oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing cost-effective benefits.
• Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, strategic planning, risk management, and corporate finance.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex financial information to non-financial managers and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations, as well as knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
