Chief Financial Officer - KLR Executive Search Group LLC : Job Details

KLR Executive Search Group is pleased to partner with a leading Subcontractor with key offices in Middleborough, MA, and Jupiter, FL, to identify its Chief Financial Officer. This family-owned company has delivered top-quality services across the Northeast and Southeast for over 40 years.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for month-end financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements (consolidated and departmental), statements of cash flows, variance analysis, and M&A.
• Actively engage and lead the annual budgeting process, conduct periodic forecasting, and perform financial analysis.
• Work closely with the finance and operation teams to strive for continuous financial and operational improvement.
• Act as Subject Matter expert and partner with business unit leadership to develop and strengthen financial understanding of the business.
• Maintain and enforce technical compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Audit and monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will bring:

• Experience working in the construction industry and for a family-owned or privately held business is preferred.
• M&A exposure is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Prior experience managing a robust WIP process is strongly preferred.
• Strong background in ERP systems (Spectrum Construction Management Software is a plus) and data extraction.
• Strong project and accrual accounting skills.
