GEICO is seeking an experienced Business Manager to support the CFO Chief of Staff. This role will report to the CFO Chief of Staff and will be part of the CFO Organization.The Business Manager will partner with the CFO Leadership Team and other key partners to manage the CFO Organizations priorities. The focus of this role will be to help drive GEICOs Chief Financial Officers people, talent, and communication agendas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support and drive growth across numerous junior talent pipeline programs managing the programs tie into companywide priorities, coordinating with Recruiting counterparts to attract and onboard top talent, identify and organize learning programs to address knowledge gaps, organize analyst rotation placements, analyze expectations vs. performance, etc. Improve overall CFO Organization employee experience beginning at onboarding, coordinate learning programs and develop standard onboarding packages for a seamless experience Partner with CFO Leadership Team to outline annual and long-term business priorities, goals and metrics and maintain related progress updates Partner with Corporate Communications to drive Chief Financial Officer and CFO Organizations communication agenda and strategy. Organize and deliver CFO Organization-specific news, hiring updates, and employee recognition via evolving channels including SharePoint and Slack Create meaningful content for Chief Financial Officers speaking engagements and presentations, both internal and external Coordinate execution of ad hoc strategic projects, analyses, and deliverables that support Chief of Staff and/or the broader CFO organization Develop and manage long range vision planning and branding for the CFO Organization Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business, Communications, Liberal Arts) and 5+ years of experience in financial management, insurance, business planning, operations management, strategy, program management, or related role(s) Effective written and oral communications with ability to story-tell business and financial analytics and build executive-level reports and presentations Can communicate clearly and professionally with partners of all levels including senior executives Self-starter with strong collaboration skills, with proven ability to work across organizational and reporting boundaries to get things done Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities in fast-paced and ambiguous environment; can adjust priorities, decisions, and actions to respond to multiple demands, unexpected events, and current information daily Proven track record of identifying and implementing improvements that drive operational efficiency and effectiveness Strong Excel and MS Office applications skills with ability to create effective PowerPoint presentations and excel analyses Preferred Qualifications Experience in a business management or equivalent role in a complex operations organization that spans multiple US and/or international locations Experience working strategically and collaboratively across multiple functions Experience in diagnosing pain points for teams, moving them to good, and going the extra mile to ensure they are great Ability to smooth out collaboration across groups, challenge decisions, question judgment, and voice concerns #LI-MD2 Annual Salary $121,975.00 - $189,625.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidates work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
