Job Description

The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to support aggressive growth objectives within a growing business line. Our client designs robust and customized preventive health & wellness programs to protect people. When prevention is not possible, they offer access to 24/7 Assistance Services. The CGO is the driving force behind the strategy and execution of winning new contracts across a broad spectrum of Federal Agencies including but not limited to, the Department of State, Veterans Affairs, HHS, DHS, DoD, and other targeted agencies. The CGO has a strong ability to manage operations, source new business opportunities, lead new business pitches, provide expert counsel to clients, effectively manage staff, and enhance overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality business development strategies and ensure they are aligned with the overarching business objectives.
  • Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities through various channels such as networking events, industry conferences, and client referrals.
  • Routinely engages with current partners and is well-networked to bring additional partnering companies to the forefront.
  • Manage and motivate the business development team to succeed and achieve their highest potential through training, coaching, and practical supervision.
  • Measure performance against financial targets and non-financial objectives and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase profitability, including client retention, upselling, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop new project-based business for new and existing clients in dedicated markets.
  • Continually evaluate progress against the pipeline, revenue, profit targets, and client plans, and act with the appropriate Business Development Managers to amend discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

Required Work Experience

  • 15+ years of experience supporting federal customers through sales or operations.

Required Qualifications

  • A track record of capturing large opportunities in the full & open market, and within GWACs/IDIQs.
  • Experience developing a pipeline of new opportunities within the Federal market, specifically focusing on contracts valued at $50m or more.
  • Thorough understanding of how medical services are procured and delivered within various Federal Agencies.
  • Have an established network within Federal agencies; to actively meet with potential clients and identify new business opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. (Master's Degree or higher is strongly preferred).
  • Experience managing a pipeline within a CRM.
  • Experience in proposal pricing methodologies and strategies.
  • Experience in managing and contributing to winning proposal content.

Required Languages

  • Foreign language preferred but not required.

Travel / Rotation Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel 10% of the time.

The pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
