Pedagog Recruiting Careers is thrilled to partner with a nationally recognized communications agency to search for a strategic and visionary Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This executive role is crucial for someone who is adept at leading comprehensive HR strategies and enhancing organizational culture in alignment with business objectives.
Role Description:
As the CHRO, you will spearhead the People Team, driving innovative HR initiatives that support the agency's dynamic growth. Your leadership will be instrumental in refining workforce strategies, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring the alignment of HR functions with the company's strategic goals. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, with the expectation of periodic visits to the corporate office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support the agency's goals, including talent acquisition, development, retention, and succession planning.
- Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive benefits plans, overseeing negotiations with providers and ensuring competitive and equitable employee compensation.
- Partner with senior leadership to cultivate an organizational culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Direct the management of HR functions including recruitment, staff development, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with all employment laws.
- Design and oversee the administration of effective recognition and wellness programs to enhance employee morale and productivity.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting to align HR strategies with fiscal management, including payroll and budgeting for departmental and training needs.
- Regularly review and analyze the effectiveness of HR policies and practices, adapting to new trends and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of human resource management experience, with substantial leadership responsibilities.
- Required certification in SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR.
- Demonstrated ability in managing comprehensive HR strategies in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems; experience with Lattice is a plus.
- Background in the Marketing/Advertising industry is advantageous.
