This role involves conducting IT system audits, providing leadership in the selection and support of information systems, and overseeing the development and monitoring of IT standards and policies. The CIO will also be involved in the financial planning of IT operations, and must be prepared to lead the organization in technology change and ensure the currency of hardware and software systems.Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' specialized experience in managing a medium to large-scale IT operation, with a focus on various business systems.
