Job Title: Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Location: New York, United States, Remote/Hybrid

Pay: $450k-$500k p/a + Up to $180k Annual bonus + Generous equity + Benefits

Employment: Permanent (Full time)

Important Note: In order of priority only US, UK and EU based candidates will be considered for this role. Candidates are required to work in the New York office 5 days every 4-6 weeks depending on business needs.

This organisation, renowned for its excellence in technology-driven services, is seeking a dynamic leader to shape its information technology landscape.

Job Summary

As a pivotal member of the executive team, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) will report to the Chief Operating Officer, taking charge of the overall technology strategy. The CIO will be responsible for crafting and implementing innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, maximizing efficiency, and prioritizing security measures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and articulate a forward-looking technology roadmap, incorporating cutting-edge systems and aligning with business priorities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement customized hardware and software solutions, enhancing client service and operational efficiency.
  • Integration Leadership: Lead the implementation of new technology systems and seamless integration with existing systems, including time tracking, scheduling, and practice management tools.
  • Optimization: Evaluate and enhance API integrations with SaaS products, optimizing data flow and streamlining business processes.
  • Innovation: Leverage emerging technologies to enhance data collection, analytics, and reporting, contributing to the creation of key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with organisational goals.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure that all technology systems, including third-party solutions, adhere to the organisations cybersecurity standards and compliance regulations.
  • Team Management: Manage the IT team, fostering high productivity and alignment with the organisations IT mission.
  • Synergy Creation: Create synergies across the organisation, enabling cost-effective and innovative shared solutions to achieve business goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in senior IT leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years at a Chief level.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of technology needs within the industry, including project management, resource allocation, and client relationship management tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Executive presence with effective communication skills, passionate about building outstanding teams.
  • Results-Driven: Proven experience leading productive teams in a high-growth environment.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Advanced degree preferred or equivalent years of directly related experience.
