The position is 100% on-site, daily. The purpose of the Chief Information Officer at the George DeLallo Company is to progress and uphold the values of customer service, accuracy, efficiency, and innovation of the organization through technology. The CIO's primary responsibility is to ensure that the current business hardware and software are always secure and functional. In addition, the CIO must have established plans, procedures, and service contracts in place to remedy issues correctly and quickly as they arise. The CIO must partner with other departments to understand their responsibilities and collectively evaluate and implement technology to continually evolve and improve the organization's productivity, organization of data, and data analysis. The CIO is the primary lead for cybersecurity. In this responsibility they must continually inspect, test, and improve all aspects of technology security with hardware, software, and third-party security vendors. In cooperation with the financial team, the CIO will create annual technology budget estimates. Assuring the timeliness of projects is essential to the CIO's success. The CIO must continually demonstrate and support the value and necessity of teaching technology best practices, security, embracing advancement, and continually instilling those ideals in their staff. The technology team must teach company users the optimal usage of current and newly implemented technology, develop subject matter experts in each department, and improve users' confidence and willingness to adapt to technology initiatives. Essential Functions
- Daily on-site management and direction of Information Technology staff.
- Management and administration of all hardware and software to ensure secure and functional daily operation.
- Creation and administration of an annual budget for current and future technology to be reviewed and/or revised on a quarterly basis with the corporate management team.
- Select and implement technology that is equal to or in advance of customers' technology to provide business continuity.
- Evaluate, select, implement, and provide continuing technology education for applicable company departments to provide business continuity and/or improve business practices.
- Keep all technology current for hardware useful life or software versions and the ability to provide customization internally or through third party providers.
- Select and manage third party technology providers and consultants relevant to ongoing business or project basis.
- Analyze, select, renew, and implement technology contracts with providers.
- Oversee and evaluate all technological infrastructure (networks, systems, providers) in the company to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee, validate, and test cyber security internally and with the assistance of third-party providers for confidence of security.
- Review and evaluate all available technology relevant to business practices to advise management on competitive advantages available and actions to take.
- Approve purchases of technological equipment within budgets and formalize proposals for capital investments on a project basis.
- Manage, teach, hire, schedule and evaluate information technology staff; be a team builder.
Required Skills
- Preparation of annual budget to reflect technology and security initiatives that align with the business objectives including the ability to adapt to available resources.
- Knowledge and the ability to identify technology solutions, both in software and hardware, that will advance the organization's ability to increase efficiency, capabilities, and competitiveness and lead implementation and adoption of those.
- Successful leadership in the continuous enhancement and utilization of technology and in the organization's skill development
- Strong communication skills including listening, spoken and written word

Supervisory Responsibility This role is responsible for communicating, leading, and developing the department's team to meet organizational and strategic business goals. Travel You will be expected to travel to all facilities as needed. Overnight travel may be required. Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or other computer field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Project management and team leadership experience
