Supervises, trains, and evaluates the work of professional human resources supervisors and staff. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating human resource functions of the department and providing input to the command staff to assist with strategic planning, goal settings, collaboration with various internal and external customers, and resource allocation. Close collaboration with sworn police supervision who manage the sworn police hiring process. Advises and assists department leadership in interpretation and application of, and evaluates department compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations and county HR policies and procedures.
