About the Role The GCST Chief of Staff, directly supports the Senior Vice President and Unit CIO in Global Commercial Services Technology (GCST). Within GCST, we are a team of technology leaders driving solutions in commercial payments servicing customers across the globe from Small & Medium Enterprises to Global & Large Accounts. The Chief of Staff will play an important role in working across the leadership team on colleague experience, talent development, and strategic projects that help ensure the objectives of the portfolio are met. A successful candidate is a strong storyteller who can rapidly turn strategic direction into action, help us maintain a fast operating rhythm, and is excited to foster an innovative, collaborative, and inclusive team culture. They will possess outstanding thought leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills, and will have a proven record of excellence operating independently and within a high performing team environment. Key responsibilities include: The overall efficiency and management of the GCST Executive Office End-to-end coordination of key meetings, including setting the agenda, crafting compelling meeting content and presentations to staff and senior business partners, and facilitating leadership team events Manage business planning and central processes driven through the Unit CIO's office (e.g. department budgeting and forecasting process, performance and talent processes, etc.) Lead our Colleague Engagement Program, which includes three pillars: Colleague Learning & Development, Investing in our Leaders, and Team Building & Engagement Proactively seek formal and informal feedback from employees to ensure maximum employee engagement and improve leadership effectiveness Support SVP as NYC Tech Site Lead, partnering with Real Estate and other groups in Technology to maximize the in-person colleague experience in New York Act as a central point of contact for urgent business issues, initiatives spearheaded by the SVP, and for addressing information requests Lead special ad hoc projects, including complex reporting analyses and insights capturing for urgent and confidential matters supporting the SVP Create good working relationships across the group as well as business partner groups to maximize information sharing, problem solving and idea generation for key business issues Minimum Qualifications A highly motivated self-starter who is able to drive results in a self-directed manner, with excellent organizational skills and careful attention to detail Ability to learn quickly, work optimally with little direction, and be willing to take the lead where appropriate Exemplary written and oral communication skills, with the ability to leverage data to tell a compelling story to senior leaders and a diverse set of constituents Exceptional qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills (issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, development of recommendations) Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate with senior leadership and business partners and effectively influences without authority across peers and leaders Outstanding organization and planning skills Passion, energy, personal accountability, and a desire to learn and grow as a leader Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and the ability to navigate critical and confidential matters QualificationsSalary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
