PactFi has hosted over $70 billion in live deal volume, over 120 counterparties and 1300+ funds on its platform and counts some of the world's largest alternative asset managers as clients.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Chief of Staff who will work closely with CEO/co-founders of the company to plan and execute key strategic and operational decisions. As the company enters a crucial growth period with an influx of users and companies signing up to the platform, we see the role as an opportunity to get involved at the highest level, be the glue that holds everyone together, and drive the direction of the company in critical areas.You will not be a glorified executive admin. This is a feeder role for other operating roles within the company with the opportunity for leadership positioning. You will have significant scope to shape your own role and leave your mark on the company. As a result, you will need to have a strong sense of initiative and be a team player with a keen ability to look and plan ahead.Responsibilities
  • Quarterback novel operational and strategic initiatives e.g. setting up processes, departments, offices
  • Source, structure and analyze data for decision making and strategy
  • Help with fundraising and investor relations
  • Internal and external communications and marketing materials
  • Vendor selection and management
  • Plan and execute both internal and external events
  • Overall culture captain
Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of work experience
  • Background in finance, tech, or another related professional service
  • Experience in institutional finance is a must (e.g. banking, asset management, PE, private credit, alternative investments)
  • Experience in start ups, business management, product management, business operations, and strategy are desirable
  • Process-oriented and highly organized with strong communication skills
  • Desire to take ownership of an array of projects and to seek out ways to improve our product and processes
  • Eager to work in a small, start-up environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (finance, economics, management, accounting, computer science, information systems, analytics, etc.)
