About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their team. The COO will be a senior-level executive responsible for directing, administering, and coordinating the agency's operations in alignment with the policies, procedures, and strategic goals set by the CEO and Board of Directors. This role involves representing the organization in executive-level relationships, collaborating with the executive management team on strategic initiatives, and engaging with field providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the operation of EMS or similar services, a proven track record of leading high-level teams, and a history of successful process and project management.Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a bachelor's degree, with an MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree in a related field preferred, and at least 5 years' experience in a leadership role, particularly in healthcare, EMS, or government. The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to bring and manage change, and to participate in process improvement and project management initiatives. A background that includes involvement in industry and community organizations, strong operational acumen, and a demonstrated ability to inspire and hold team members accountable is essential. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to encourage innovation and bring new ideas to the agency. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
