Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the People function, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive people roadmap, identifying key priorities and addressing organizational gaps.
  • Design and implement processes, policies, and systems to enable growth and scalability. Build and promote a values-driven culture that supports scalability while maintaining the company's mission and vision.
  • Create and manage feedback channels to ensure employees feel heard and valued.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Serve as the company's expert in employment law and HR compliance, proactively addressing risks and ensuring adherence to all legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and training to leadership and employees on policy adherence and compliance best practices.
  • Build trust and strong relationships with the leadership team, acting as a key advisor on people-related matters.
  • Serve as a reliable and accessible resource for employees, fostering trust and engagement.
  • Partner closely with the CEO, navigating high expectations and providing candid, strategic counsel with a results-oriented approach.
  • Establish systems and processes to proactively manage people-related challenges, ensuring a sense of stability and order across the organization.
  • QualificationsMust Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or related fields, with a proven track record of building and scaling people functions.
  • Expertise in HR compliance, including employment law, policy creation, and enforcement.
  • Experience leading Talent Acquisition and People Operations teams in fast-growing organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement people roadmaps, systems, and processes.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and employees.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment, reporting directly to the CEO.
  • Experience in early-stage startups or high-growth companies, particularly in tech or healthcare sectors.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
  • Familiarity with digital health or AI-driven organizations.
  • HR certification (PHR/SPHR or equivalent).
