What We're Looking for in our New Chief People OfficerAs Chief People Officer, you will leverage your knowledge of HR conventions, law, people management, and organizational development. You should have a track record of success in leading change, excellent judgment, and the ability to inspire others. A customer service mentality is essential, along with the ability to gain the trust of both our leaders and team members. You will handle sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion and be a skilled trainer and coach. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, 10+ years of experience in people management, and 5+ years in a leadership role. Preference will be given to candidates with HRCI or SHRM Certification and an advanced degree.
About the Chief People Officer RoleAs the leader of our People Team, you will oversee the development and implementation of Henry Street's next wave of people strategy initiatives, building on the work that has been done to develop and execute Henry Street's 2023-2025 strategy, input from our recent culture survey, and our core organization values.
