About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Pharmacy Officer to oversee and lead all pharmacy services within its extensive healthcare system. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered pharmacy care while also contributing to the financial success of the organization. This role involves developing and implementing strategic plans, maintaining a culture of innovation and collaboration, and fostering professional growth and advancement within the department. The Chief Pharmacy Officer will also be expected to establish and maintain institutional partnerships, represent the department at professional meetings, and contribute to the educational and research missions of the medical center and university.Candidates for the Chief Pharmacy Officer position at the company should have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and residency training, and be eligible for licensure in the state of New York. A formal business school degree or equivalent training is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a pharmacy leader, with a strong understanding of the operations and business aspects of a complex pharmacy department within a health system.
