About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) to lead its philanthropic engagement and revenue growth initiatives. The CPO will be responsible for driving strategies to expand a diverse community of philanthropic support and foster deep, long-term relationships with a focus on the common goal of gender equality. This role is pivotal in the organization's mission to catalyze resources and power the movement for gender and racial equality, particularly in the context of the company's vision for a world where women and girls are agents of change. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, senior executive, and Board leadership to establish and advance philanthropic engagement goals, secure necessary revenue, and manage a team to support these efforts. Candidates for the CPO position at the company should have a proven track record in developing and executing creative, effective fundraising strategies, and a sophisticated understanding of influencing and stewarding high-net-worth donors, family offices, foundations, and institutional philanthropy. The role requires a leader who can model proactivity, and strategic, data-informed decision-making, and demonstrate a professional pace and agility that aligns with the organization's dynamic and impact-led community. The CPO will be instrumental in the company's new strategic planning effort, which aims to meet the urgent challenges impacting women's rights globally and accelerate the movement of resources to the gender equality cause. This is a unique opportunity for a philanthropy leader to make a significant impact and contribute to the vision of a just, peaceful, and flourishing world.
