About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Supply Chain Officer to lead and transform its supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, distribution, strategic sourcing, value analysis, logistics, and contract and vendor management. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in supply chain management, particularly in a large, complex healthcare setting. The CSCO will be a key change agent, driving the development and implementation of supply chain strategies that align with the company's mission and objectives. They will also be tasked with ensuring the integrity and best practice methodology of supply chain processes, as well as fostering strong relationships with senior leadership, internal and external stakeholders, and suppliers.Applicants for the Chief Supply Chain Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 10-15 years' relevant experience in supply chain and procurement, with a preference for those who have worked in a large, highly matrixed hospital, health system, or integrated delivery system. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree being preferred. Professional certifications in supply chain management are highly desirable. The role demands a candidate with a strong technical background in logistics and supply chain management, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage financial aspects of the supply chain, including budgeting and cost control. The CSCO will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and for maintaining a supplier diversity program that supports the company's commitment to inclusion and economic development.
