Community Services for Children is seeking a Child Development Partner in the Early Head Start Home Visitation Program for pregnant women, infants, toddlers, and their families. Work Environment:
Newly hired Community Services for Children staff members will receive a $500 net monetary incentive. The candidate will receive the $500 payout upon completion of probation.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver weekly comprehensive services to children and families in their homes.Provide individualized education on prenatal and child development, parenting, and promote a healthy family lifestyle.Partner with parents to provide activities, experiences, and resources that support healthy births, children ready to learn, and stable families.Provide bimonthly classroom experiences for children and parents to support positive interactions.Promote parents as their child's first and most important teacher.Model and support positive, nurturing parent-child relationships.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Development and Family Studies, Psychology, or related field.Three years' experience working with infants and toddlers required.Arabic/English bilingual a plus.Spanish/English bilingual a plus.Valid driver's license, full-time use of a car, and the ability to transport families in a private vehicle.Ability to communicate, organize and maintain records, and use of technology.Able to flex work hours to meet the needs of the program, including working evenings and occasional Saturdays.Benefits:
