Community Services for Children is seeking a Child Development Partner in the Early Head Start Home Visitation Program for pregnant women, infants, toddlers, and their families. CSC's Head Start/Early Head Start program has been designated as a Program of Excellence. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of at-risk young children and their families.

Work Environment:

Newly hired Community Services for Children staff members will receive a $500 net monetary incentive. The candidate will receive the $500 payout upon completion of probation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver weekly comprehensive services to children and families in their homes.
  • Provide individualized education on prenatal and child development, parenting, and promote a healthy family lifestyle.
  • Partner with parents to provide activities, experiences, and resources that support healthy births, children ready to learn, and stable families.
  • Provide bimonthly classroom experiences for children and parents to support positive interactions.
  • Promote parents as their child's first and most important teacher.
  • Model and support positive, nurturing parent-child relationships.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Development and Family Studies, Psychology, or related field.
  • Three years' experience working with infants and toddlers required.
  • Arabic/English bilingual a plus.
  • Spanish/English bilingual a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, full-time use of a car, and the ability to transport families in a private vehicle.
  • Ability to communicate, organize and maintain records, and use of technology.
  • Able to flex work hours to meet the needs of the program, including working evenings and occasional Saturdays.
