We are committed to delivering high-quality care to our community members.Job SummaryThe Child Watch Attendant is a per-diem position responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable childcare environment for the children of our patients. This role involves supervising and engaging children in various activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and monitor children's play activities.Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games and group activities.Read to children and teach them basic skills.Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.Communicate effectively with children, their parents, and other staff members.Sanitize toys and play equipment.Perform basic housekeeping duties.Adhere to all JHC policies and procedures, including safety standards and confidentiality regulations.Cross-train for other non-medical JHC positions.Perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum age of 18.High School Diploma or equivalent.One year or more of previous childcare experience.CPR, First Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogen, Child Abuse Training, Drug and Alcohol Abuse training certifications, and Food Handler's Card.TB test clearance.Knowledge of basic care principles for infants, toddlers, and preschool children.Responsible, patient, understanding, and articulate.Energy and physical stamina.Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to illnesses and injuries.Ability to travel locally and regionally.Valid Washington State Driver's License.Successful completion of a criminal background investigation.If you are a caring and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
