The Family Resource Center is driven by the principle that nothing is more fundamental to a community than the safety and well-being of its children.Full Case Manager/Child Welfare Case ManagerThe Full Case Manager position requires a certified or provisionally certified Child Welfare Case Manager (CWCM or CWCM-P) who is a highly responsible individual who will be in charge of full case management services for Children who have been abused, abandoned, and/or neglected. The Children on the caseload may or may not have open Court cases. Qualifications:
  • Certified or provisionally certified by the Florida Certification Board as CWCM, CWCM-P, CWPI, or CWPI-P (Preferred)
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required.
  • A related degree is preferred. Related degrees (Behavioral Sciences; Community Development; Criminology/Criminal Justice; Education; Health Science; Human Development; Human Sciences; Political Science; Public Administration; Psychology; Social Policy; Sociology; Social Work; Law)
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
Purpose:
  • This position requires a highly responsible individual who will be in charge of case management services for children who have been deemed unsafe due to abuse, abandonment and/or neglect.
  • Full Case Manager shall have a working knowledge of Florida Statutes Chapter 39, Operating Procedures and Florida's Child Welfare Practice Model.
  • Full Case Manager shall be able to properly manage and organize service provisions, drafting of all necessary documents and compliance with all other statutory and agency requirements.
  • Full Case Manager shall be responsible for timely, efficient and effective work concerning every Child and Family assigned to his/her caseload.
  • Other duties as assigned and as specified in Job Description.
