• Prepare and serve healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children, following dietary guidelines and center menus.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen that complies with health and safety standards.
• Accommodate special dietary needs and food allergies as required.
• Order, receive, and store food supplies while managing inventory.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and food safety protocols.
• Collaborate with staff to create a positive and inclusive dining experience for children.

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience, preferably in childcare, schools, or similar settings.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices (Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain one).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on serving children.
• Passion for creating nutritious and appealing meals for children.
