Darigold is looking for a CIP Operator to join our Sunnyside team. This position is responsible for assisting in the cleaning and sanitizing of machinery, tanks and towers that are used in to process cheese. This position will also provide backup coverage during breaks for the Tower Operators. What You Will Do
- This position is expected to disconnect pipe from machinery that has been used to process cheese and will reconnect after pipes are cleaned. Will transport dirty pipes to a large tub for cleaning and sanitizing. Will conduct a pre-scrub and then initiate cleaning and sanitizing cycle in the tub.
- This position will be working with many different valves and clean them with a scrub brush and remount them.
- Be required to walk lots of stairs.
- Will walk upstairs to the area above the towers to cap the tops of the towers.
- Will retrieve sample of chemicals from the flow board while wash cycle is running.
- Will observe valves to confirm all are functioning both on both upper levels and main floor of production area.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. block of cheese during production.
