The Free Press Media is now HIRING!Mankato Free Press is looking for aFull or Part-Time Circulation Assistantto join ourteam! The ideal candidate for this position will be someone that can work independentlyas well as be a team player. This job will require the use of a personal vehicle and driving.CompensationHourly rate starting between $15.00 – $17.00/hr.Additional compensation will be applied for mileage.Responsibilities/Duties• Train delivery contractors on route delivery• Deliver newspapers to subscribers as necessaryto fill in for open/down routes or redeliver missednewspapers• Ensure customer/subscriber service andsatisfaction goals are met• Conduct home delivery and retail sales audits• Assist in sales promotionsIn addition to the responsibilities above, this isa constantly changing work environment andthis position will require other duties assigned bymanagement within reason.Qualifications• Work experience in Circulation, Distributionor Retail areas is helpful, but willing to train• Experience delivering newspapers isvaluable, but willing to train• Forward thinking, anticipates opportunitiesand situations and looks for ways to improvethe team and its outputs• Ability to work independently• Must be outgoing, team-oriented, and ableto work collaboratively with others• A good motor vehicle report, valid driver'slicense, dependable automobile, and liabilityinsurance are required• Flexibility and time management skills areessential to manage multiple and competingpriorities and schedules that can change quickly• Ability to lift 25-50lbsTo apply please email Fred [email protected] mnb8oxkx5n2ltbqbai1b8sywvw9o5s
