What you'll do:As a City Clerk Administrative Specialist, you'll:
  • Prepare agendas and produce meeting summaries.
  • Take detailed and accurate meeting minutes.
  • Maintain and organize official records, reports, and databases.
  • Handle clerical duties, including preparing correspondence, forms, and other materials.

  • Requires at least two years of experience in general office work;
OR
  • Two years of related college or vocational education from an accredited college/university.
PREFERRED
  • Experience with an emphasis on contact with the public;
  • Strong writing skills.
Candidates must successfully complete a clerical test demonstrating effective and proper use of the English language, which may include proficiency in typing, proofreading, spelling, punctuation, and sentence clarity.Licensing/Certification:
