Civil Design Engineer (Water Infrastructure) - CyberCoders : Job Details

Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and managing various civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and client specifications. The role involves collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs for municipal, residential, commercial, and institutional projects.Responsibilities

• Support a variety of civil engineering projects including site designs, grading plans, and drainage systems
• Collaborate with project managers to define project scope and deliverables
• Conduct hydrology and hydraulic analyses for water and wastewater projects
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations during the permitting process
• Utilize CAD software for drafting and design (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, etc.)
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success
• Perform site visits to assess project progress and compliance with design specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil design/project management experience
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
• E.I.T. (Engineer in Training) certification required
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or HydroCAD
• Strong understanding of water infrastructure including sewer, wastewater, stormwater, and other septic systems
• Permitting experience strongly preferred
