Civil Engineer - Construction - Wiz Recruiting : Job Details

Wiz Recruiting is exclusively representing our client for the position of Civil Engineer - Construction.

Our client is General Contractor managing the following different aspects of developing: Land Development, Home Building, Apartment Developer and Commercial Contractor in southeast South Dakota and in Iowa.

Responsibilities for the Position:

* Working with municipals, other engineers, surveyors, and technicians to complete engineering studies and designs, drawings, layouts, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided drafting software.

* Estimating, field investigations and inspections.

* Focus on civil designs in the following: new residential development, new apartment development, new commercial development, and redevelopment civil engineering designs.

* Project oversight from beginning to end on all projects designed by candidate.

Requirements:

* Licensed / Certified South Dakota Civil Engineer or EIT which will require a minimum of BS degree in Civil Engineering and related design/engineering experience.

* Knowledge of DOT and/or typical municipal standards and competence with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or or comparable software.

* Requires proven technical knowledge to complete technical analysis and engineering designs.

* The ideal candidate shall be self-motivated, organized, able to communicate effectively both written and orally, able to work in a team environment, and have strong interpersonal skills.
