CSDG is seeking a passionate, accountable Civil Engineer who has earned their B.S. in Civil Engineering with in the past two years. The continued success of CSDG is dependent upon our clients' trust. Under the supervision of a licensed professional.

  • Prepare technical reports and calculations for submittal and review by regulatory agencies to support the design.
  • Review information provided by other disciplines and review agencies to understand project requirements, design specifications, and constraints.
  • Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and impact of proposed designs.
  • Review and analyze data, such as site surveys, maps, and geotechnical reports, to inform design decisions.
  • Review applicable regulations, codes, and standards which the design must be based on.
  • Maintain accurate records of design work and project communications.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss design, provide updates, and obtain feedback.
  • Review and modify designs based on feedback from other team members, regulatory agencies, and from clients.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ABET accredited college with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Eligible to sit for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam; Engineer Intern licensure preferred.
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in designs and calculations.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices.
  • Familiarity with project management concepts and tools is beneficial.
  • Internships or practical experience are an advantage.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs
  • Complete and submit timesheets daily.
  • Complete and submit expense reports monthly.
  • Collaborate with team members to learn design fundamentals.
