CIVIL ENGINEER - Actalent : Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Civil Design Engineer with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in site design, grading, drainage, and utility design using Civil 3D software.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and design civil site plans, grading plans, and drainage plans for various projects, including residential, commercial, municipal, and mixed-use developments.

+ Utilize Civil 3D software to create and modify design models, analyze grading requirements, and prepare detailed design documentation.

+ Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project requirements are met and design solutions are practical and effective.

+ Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to assess site conditions and determine design approaches.

+ Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

+ Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards in design work.

+ Participate in construction phase services, including reviewing submittals, addressing RFI's, and performing site visits as needed.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.

+ 3+ years of experience in civil engineering design, with a focus on water design preferred

+ Proficiency in Civil 3D software is required; experience with other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, HydroCAD) is a plus.

+ Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and utility design principles.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
