This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil / Environmental Engineering graduate with 0 - 2 years of experience interested in pursuing a professional engineering career in water resources, sustainable water/wastewater infrastructure. This individual will be assigned to a project team tasked with helping communities and industries solve their most challenging infrastructure problems. The team-based culture effectively fosters learning and growth, especially with entry-level engineers. Responsibilities include performing assignments requiring standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks, working under the supervision of a project manager or s r team member, performing sub-professional engineering tasks such as field work, inspections, engineering reports, permits, construction engineering, and simple design calculations, coordinating with contractors, reviewing construction drawings and specifications, and contacting government officials for permits.

Hard Skills

+ Degree in Civil Engineering

+ Passed FE exam

+ Basic engineering principles

+ GPA of 3.2 or higher

+ Interest in water/wastewater/stormwater engineering or Transportation Engineering

+ Willingness to learn new skills

+ Strong team-oriented mindset

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Huntingburg, Indiana.

Work Environment

Office environment is laid back but can be deadline intensive at times. There is a family feel and a strong team environment is very important. Dress is business casual.
