Position Overview

We are seeking talented professionals to join our civil engineering design team specializing in transportation projects. This opportunity involves working on projects related to traffic, roadway, and bridge design for state departments of transportation (DOT) and associated civil construction initiatives. Open Positions

• Mid-Level Engineer: 5–10 years of experience
• Senior Engineer: 10–30 years of experience

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Background

• Experience working directly for a DOT or an engineering consulting firm. (For senior roles, experience in both is highly desirable.)
• Strong understanding of DOT processes, procedures, and standards.
• Proven track record in civil engineering, including hydro design, pavement marking, and other road design components.

Day-to-Day Work

Engineers will focus on transportation projects within South Carolina, designing critical components for road infrastructure. The role requires collaboration with both DOT employees and consulting partners, leveraging their unique perspectives to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Locations

Positions are available in Greenville, Myrtle Beach, Columbia, Charleston, and remote work opportunities.

Compensation

Top-tier pay is available for candidates with extensive experience, particularly those who have worked for or retired from a DOT and have consulting experience.
