Civil Engineer - Dow Chemical Company : Job Details

Develop civil engineering project scope and prepare documents for bid and construction. Oversee document preparation with designers. Perform engineering analysis. Support construction activities with design clarifications or technical support. Serve in a technical capacity to provide solutions to complex engineering problems within the Civil / Structural disciplineSupport project teams and troubleshooting requests from manufacturing plants. Collaborate and coordinate designs with multiple engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical, electrical process, instrument and piping) to support project deliverables. Design foundations for heavy process structures and equipment, dynamic and rotating equipment. Design structural steel open process structures, pipe racks, modifications to existing facilities, and modular structure.
