Job Description :
Civil Engineer - Site Development We are looking for a talented and accomplished Civil Engineer - Site Development to join our team of professionals. As a site engineer, you will manage projects, supervise staff, and provide technical advice as a subject matter expert. Our ideal candidate is an industrious go-getter. Responsibilities
  • Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
  • Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and others)
  • Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
  • Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
  • Responsible for the design of facilities-related sites in support of a variety of markets including Commercial, Residential, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, and Federal
  • Coordinate and work closely with a multidiscipline design team throughout the entire life cycle of projects from the planning stages, through the development of construction documents, and construction administration
Key requirements:
  • Knowledge of CADD software such as AutoCAD (and Civil 3D) and Microstation
  • Knowledge of computer applications in Civil Engineering such as FlowMaster, HydroCAD and StormCAD
  • 3+ years of relevant experience of the land development approval process, including grading, E&S and stormwater management.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Professional Registration: EIT required, P.E. preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks in a highly organized manner within a collaborative team environment.
