We have a great opportunity for a Claims Associate to join our North America Accident & Health (A&H) Claims team in an established company, combining the dynamic spirit of the team with the backing of Swiss Re's strong organization.About the RoleThis position is responsible for receiving, logging, tracking and organizing department work. You are responsible for customer service, and establishing financial risk associated with Stop Loss claims. This requires outstanding organizational and computer skills, as well as the ability to work independently and problem solve. You are responsible for receiving, logging and tracking incoming mail in a variety of formats. You will identify key elements and enter the mail into the business application and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. You are responsible for following established department protocols as well as looking for opportunities for improvement of processes. About YouYour strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail help you thrive in an energizing work environment! Flexibility enables you to successfully handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills easily communicating with stakeholders at all levels.Additional requirements include:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, is desired but not required.
  • Knowledge of common medical terminology, diseases and their related risks
  • A basic knowledge of Stop Loss Industry will be valuable
  • Overall knowledge of healthcare industry
  • Excellent Excel and Word Skills.
