Claims Associate - IMA Financial Group : Job Details

What Youll Do:

• Interacts professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person
• Performs functions of the role within an IMA office 60% of the time
• Maintains a proactive approach, focusing on claim resolutions and strategies; advocates for the timely resolution of claim matters
• Communicates pertinent claim information on a timely basis to internal and external clients
• Develops strong working knowledge of Applied Epic and Carrier Interface Systems
• Develops external relationships with internal and external clients
• Assists on Claims Projects, coordinates claim reviews, reports, loss runs, or other tasks as assigned
• Demonstrates technical insurance knowledge
• Support and demonstrate IMAs core values
• Value and understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates.

You Should Have::

• 1 to 3 years of similar or related experience
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Experience with MS Office products preferred/required (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business/trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program
• Prior claim experience preferred or coordination of claim and general insurance experience
• Strong communication skills and basic mathematical skills required
• Ability to discuss and solve claim problems and communicate same with clients and carriers
