Claims Manager - NAPA TRANSPORTATION : Job Details

The Claims Manager is responsible for comprehensive event management, ensuring all steps are executed to minimize adverse exposure and unacceptable risk.

What you'll do:

• Manages claims process for all accident, cargo, and third-party events.
• Drives continuous improvement of processes and results.
• Collaborates with internal NAPA Transportation departments, claims adjusters, insurance companies, legal representatives, brokers, and third-party administrators.
• Maintains comprehensive claims dairy and files, ensures timely updates.
• Classifies accidents and incidents in accordance with ATA Standards for Preventability.
• Verifies timely completion of all accident/incident reporting aspects.
• Develops, coaches & mentors direct reports to achieve individual and departmental goals.
• Mitigates risk exposure through proactive event management.
• Identifies and analyzes claim trends across various metrics.
• Provides regular updates to senior leadership and safety specialists.
• Escalates unresolved claims or complex issues requiring additional support.

What we're looking for:

• 3-5 Years of extensive administrative experience. Experience in transportation insurance and claims management preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A valid driver's license is required. Occasional travel is required.
• Ability to be on call to receive calls for any major accident.
