WE REQUIRE: Valid and current Class A CDL Doubles Endorsement required Must be 21 years of age Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience OR 6 months of experience AND a certificate from an accredited CDL School. Must be willing and able to unload tailgated freight by conveyor rollers Ability to meet all DOT requirements Ability to push, pull, or carry freight weighing up to 75 lbs. CPC Logistics is currently hiring Class A CDL Extra Board Truck Drivers in Mt Vernon IL for the Walgreens private fleet. Extra Board routes consisting of peddle, relay, and team runs are available. Peddle routes consist of making tailgate deliveries via a roller system to Walgreens stores in Mt Vernon IL and the surrounding areas. The schedule is Tuesday thru Saturday with early morning start times (12am-6am) and 95% of the runs are home every day with an occasional layover. Relay routes consist of running regional routes, drop and hook, no touch freight. The schedule is Monday thru Friday with start times that vary from early afternoon to late evening and home every day. Drivers must be willing and able to do Peddle, Relay, and team routes as needed.
