Job Type Full-timeDescriptionVCT is currently looking for safe and reliable Class A CDL truck drivers for our night shift in the Aberdeen area. This team member is responsible for hauling wood residuals from various mills to various destinations.This position will be home daily.Responsibilities: Perform DOT inspections to ensure that the equipment is safe to operate. Report any defects to the appropriate department.Follow direction from dispatch.Comply with ALL DOT regulations. (i.e., weight restrictions, rest breaks, etc.)Report any violations or citations immediately.Requirements: Valid Class A CDL licenseCurrent DOT medical cardTeam playerSafe and reliablePhysically able to lift 100 lbs. occasionallyPhysically able to climb a ladder occasionallyWilling and able to use tire chains as necessary/requiredBe physically able to open manual tarp systems using upper body strengthAble to work with minimal supervisionAdaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)THIS POSITION REQUIRES A PERSON THAT NEEDS MINIMAL SUPERVISION AND ONE THAT CAN THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX.Pay

• $27.00 - 0-90 days
• $28.00 - 91-1 year
• $29.00 - 1 + years
• $30.00 - 3 + years
• $.50 / Hour Shift Differential for all SCHEDULED shifts 12:01pm to 11:59pm
