Compensation: Starting pay $0.60 cpm ; $1,250 Gross minimum guaranteed weekly pay. Plus safety, mileage, and performance bonuses

Job Overview:
An Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods primarily along the East Coast, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. As a key member of our transportation team, the OTR Truck Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and efficient logistics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive tractor-trailers along designated routes, focusing on the East Coast region.
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods to various destinations.
- Adhere to company-specific delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the vehicle.
- Report any mechanical issues promptly and coordinate with the maintenance department for necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs, including driving hours, miles, and cargo information.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with driver advocates, providing updates on delivery status and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Utilize communication devices responsibly to stay connected with the team.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients during pickups and deliveries.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service and represent C&L Logistics positively.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong knowledge of transportation laws, regulations, and safe driving practices.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- 2 years OTR experience.
- Proven track record of safe driving and on-time deliveries, preferably with a focus on the East Coast.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Truck Driving School.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (CDL A).
- Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Adaptability to changing schedules and routes.
- Professional demeanor and customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and endure long driving hours.
- Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Good overall physical condition to handle the demands of the job.
