East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full-time (35-40 hours per week), year-round (52 weeks) Classroom Behavior Technician to join our team and provide a nurturing and safe classroom environment for children in the Head Start program in Newport, Riverside, and Warren. Due to the critical nature of this position to provide services to children, EBCAP is offering a two-step sign-on bonus totaling $1000 for external applicants. Work with the classroom team to support children with identified behavioral and developmental needs. Using the Head Start Program Performance Standards, Rhode Island Child Day Care Center Regulations for Licensing, East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) Head Start Program Plan, The Creative Curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), The Incredible Years Teaching Strategies and Conscious Discipline classroom strategies to ensure that all children have the opportunity for high quality, nurturing, and safe learning experience. Under the guidance of a mental Clinician, support the implementation of therapeutic integration plans for children with significant needs. Provide regular feedback to the clinician on each child's progress toward meeting individual goals. Complete daily documentation on each child's behavior.
