Department Office of Digital Learning
Responsibilities - Responsible for providing technical customer support for internal desktop systems, software, hardware, and network infrastructure.
- Installs configures, and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, printers, servers, and network issues.
- Serves as a principle point of contact to answer inquiries and initiate resolution of problems.
- Communication may be on-site, electronic, or by phone.
- May respond to requests from the help desk to support end-users on various desktop systems issues and assess assigned priority levels.
- This position is part of ITS Classroom Support, which is the first line of support for instructors in over 250 classrooms around FSU. It is a very active, fast-paced environment, and the employee must learn about numerous new technologies.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalency and two years' experience or a combination of post high school education and experience to two years.
- A valid Florida or Georgia driver's license, class E or the ability to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications - Thoroughly familiar with Windows 10 and/or 11
- Customer support experience
