Job Title: Clean Room AssemblerJob DescriptionThe Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices while working within a controlled (clean, sterile, medical grade) manufacturing area.General Overview:• Work in a clean room environment• Perform assemblies underneath a microscope• Perform assemblies 6-8 hours dailyDetailed Description of Duties:Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing proceduresAssemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing proceduresPerform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished productUtilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and testing equipmentParticipate in line meetings as neededWork with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvementsMaintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to clean room environment practices and proceduresMaintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor (e.g., timecards), and special projectsApply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activitiesAdhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations 5-7 week training periodAbout Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
