We are looking for a/an Clean Water Service Technician to join our FE_WIBU team in United States .

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

* Travel-Road Warrior - up to (80%) to North America sites

* Assists customers on the phone and in the field with troubleshootingof rotating equipment under the Sulzer Clean water Portfolio

* Recommends and interprets service & warranties programs to customers on the phone and in the field.

* Performs on-site start-ups to ensure equipment is installed correctly and is set up properly for conditions.

* Responsible for on-site training of customer personnel to Sulzer/Johnston standards on proper operation of their equipment

* Read and review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare for startup or service

* Performs electrical testing and repair of equipment according to drawings and procedures, both in the field and at the service center.

* Analyzes equipment failure and recommends corrective or preventative actions on the phone and in the field.

* Ensures customer satisfaction is maintained.

* Prepares reports on service calls and equipment problems/concerns to management as required (trip reports).

* Escalates technical issues to management as needed.

* Provides equipment feedback/customer suggestion to management.

* Supports teamwork by assisting in the office as needed.

* Adheres to safety policies and use of safety equipment.

* Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* 3-5 years' experience in field service including performing repairs of customer equipment on site.

* Travel as required to fulfill customer requirements and Service Tech Schedules up to 100% at times.

* Ability to work remotely and independently with little to no supervision

* Technical troubleshooting with effective diagnostic and repair experience.

* Strong communication and presentation skills along with a commitment to customer service and excellence.

* Ability to work under pressure situations and work with customers to resolve their concerns.

* Ability to access and troubleshoot issues that arise while on jobsites and make sound decisions independently that are in the best interest of Sulzer

* Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematic drawings.

* Knowledge of Vertical Pumps & Split Case Pumps

* Knowledge of hand tools and electronic test equipment.

* Knowledge of electrical safety.

* Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases)
