We are hiring a Cleaner to join our team at our East Durham location. The Cleaner position focuses on maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, with primary duties in the washroom. You will clean and sanitize production equipment, including valves, piping, and totes, ensuring compliance with FDA standards. This role also supports maintaining overall cleanliness in production areas.Qualifications:Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience:Entry-level position; no prior experience required.Skills and Attributes:Ability to routinely lift up to 55 pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.Strong attention to detail to meet cleaning standards.Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry, email).Effective communication skills to collaborate with co-workers, management, and other departments.Comfortable working with protective equipment in a washroom environment.Willingness to work overtime as needed.Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and RICO tote movers.Equipment Cleaning:Clean and sanitize production equipment, including packaging and manufacturing components.Swab and inspect equipment to meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.Clean totes, valves, and piping used in toothpaste production.Use hot/cold water, spray hoses, and nozzles to complete tasks.Perform cleaning tasks at height using ladders as required.Workplace Maintenance:Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.Perform preventative maintenance in assigned areas.Compliance:Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and GMP guidelines.Special Requirements:Education must be listed on the resume.Steel-toe shoes or boots required; casual but appropriate attire.Benefits of Joining:Competitive pay at $ 20.50/hour.12 hour shifts 7am-7pm Week 1-Tue,Wed,Sat,Sun; Week 2 Mon,Thurs,FriOpportunity to work with a global leader in consumer healthcare.Gain hands-on experience in a GMP-compliant, FDA-regulated environment.To Apply: Submit your resume, ensuring all relevant experience and education are listed today!.Pay Details: $20.50 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
