Cleaners, 12 mo positionSubstitute Cleaners - $18.00 per hour, no benefitsMinimum starting pay: $15.50 - $16.28 plus shift differentialExcellent health and dental insuranceSick, personal and vacation time as per employment contractNYS Employees' Retirement System plan eligibleHours: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM other hours may be required based on the building needs and scheduled events that occur outside of the normal work scheduleSUMMARYPerform routine building cleaning duties in school buildings and related facilities. Substitute Cleaners are expected to perform a wide variety of routine and non-routine cleaning tasks as required throughout the year to assure our buildings are clean, safe and comfortable for our students, staff, and the community in general. They also perform a variety of non-cleaning tasks such as opening the school, checking for vandalism, identifying safety and maintenance needs, responding to teachers' and principals' requests, setting up for special activities and events, attend to special events and building use activities, accept deliveries, perform stocking and delivery of supplies, support the activities of the food service staff, and tend to the building's exterior and interior flags.
