**Cleaning Supervisor**

**Norcross, GA**

**Pays: $17-$19 (based on experience)**

**Job Summary:**

The Cleaning Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager and is primarily responsible for overseeing approx.6-10 employees.

**Essential Functions:**

Supervises and leads staff in the manual cleaning of commercial motor coach buses, shuttle buses, and other company vehicles.

Cleaning of facilities/shop/office areas including bathrooms

Ensures staff is performing duties so that bus interiors/exteriors are clean, safe and ready for passengers

Stays flexible on work hours and work days in efforts to monitor all crews including some nights and weekends.

Manages all aspects of staff discipline including performance coaching and disciplinary procedures

Recommends and promotes changes to the wash bay and facilities cleaning operations that yield efficient results

Works closely with different company departments, listens to suggestions, meets their needs and puts effort into maximizing wash bay output

Stays positive and manages job-related stress that comes from high volume work, including last minute changes, staffing and performance issues, work deadlines, incidents/accidents and unpredictable events

Stays abreast of company demands, including on the spot assignments & emergencies

Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Director of Maintenance or General Manager

**Minimum Qualifications:**

2+ years of experience supervising, leading or coaching staff

Ability to prioritize work objectives so goals are achieved, give/receive work directives in a professional, timely and effective manner

Good organizational and record keeping skills

Possess a pleasant demeanor and good customer service

Able to communicate fluently in English

Pass a complete background check including drug screening and physical

Must be able to pass the internal driving training of the company and be comfortable driving and parking buses within the yard (will be trained). CDL is not required but preferred.

**Physical Requirements:**

Able to walk up and down steps

Bend / Stoop

Overhead work is required

Lift containers of water and other supplies up to 50 lbs

Knowledge of Safety rules and Federal & State Regulations for facilities and drivers

**Work Schedule:**

Ability to work flexible schedules such as weekdays, weekends, and holidays
