SUMMARY: The Clerical Assistant assists and supports the Sr. Managing Clerk with various clerical tasks. Monitors the operations for Court Services staff to ensure that requests for court services are handled timely and appropriately.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Works with the Sr. Managing Clerk with completing assignments including emailing reports to clients
- Responds to client emails and phone calls
- Review the DR slips and submitting affidavits of service for the Process Serving Department through the EDDS system
- Assist with answering questions from account managers.
- Work with the Billing Department on clerical billing, including reports that have not been billed, changing the defaults for particular client or case.
- Review documents that are going to be submitted to the Court.
- Go to Courthouse as needed to handle tasks that would normally be handled by a court clerk.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Familiarity with subpoenas, written depositions and affidavits a plus.
- Must have ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to think quickly and logically to ensure expedient response to customer inquiries.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Some college desirable, but not required.
- Minimum one-year administrative experience in an administrative role.
- Legal terminology preferred, but not required.
