Job DescriptionPosition Overview: Under supervision, with latitude for independent judgment, performs supervisory and/or moderately difficult clerical duties. In addition to performing the duties of Assignment Level II at a higher level, also performs the following typical tasks:
Responsibilities: Performs clerical tasks to support the efficient and organized running of the clinical units; safety of the resident/staff; and the security/confidentiality of the clinical record.
Utilizes and ensures that the .practices appropriate interpersonal relationships, customer service skills, and effective communications on a daily basis. ie: approachability, sensitivity, flexibility, friendliness, and is culturally oriented. Maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment on all units. Orders according to unit usage and assist with putting away the products.Monitor the practice and enforcement ofthe HIPPA policies at all times on all clinical units.Controls and monitors traffic on the clinical units as per nursing policy. Ensures that all policy/procedure manuals on all units are maintained.Conducts environmental rounds on the units and submits repair slips as needed. Participates in Hospital andNursing Department performance improvement programs through: collaborating as member of a team, performing medical recordaudits, data collection/analysis, make recommendations, and present written reports.Responsible for maintaining current trends and knowledge of clerical job responsibilities. Attends all mandatory classes. Demonstrates safety awareness and follows the protocol for fire, disaster, infection control and other environment of care practices.Performs clerical task of level II.Performs other related clerical duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications1. A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and2.
