**ROLE SUMMARY**

Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.

Computer proficiency; Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Performs clerical duties such as copying, emailing, sorting of correspondence.

Sort and organize incoming mail daily.

Research issues, questions or requests presented by the company and responds within 48 hours.

Serves as a relationship builder with the client staff to ensure cooperation and timely response.

Assist in the customer service role as needed.

Effectively maintain office inventory.

Order, track and distribute office supplies as needed.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Maintains professional knowledge regarding health care billing, coding, procedures, insurance carriers and all local, state, and federal programs

Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner

Support for the company staff on the hospital campus by processing and handling time sensitive documents

Administrative duties include, but are not limited to, correspondence, dispute correspondence, certified mail processing, copying, filing, etc.

Needs to multitask while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail

Must have time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

Must take initiative to work individually and in a team environment

Maintain attention to detail for accurate information reporting into database software

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Education and experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and emails, including the ability to write correspondence.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, understanding the debit v. credit calculations.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.

To perform this job successfully you should have knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, as well as the internal systems of both the client and the company.
