Join our dedicated team of professionals as we work to provide valuable services to area children and families DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 1 you will be tasked with providing receptionist and clerical support to the Children, Youth, and Families department. Work includes handling incoming and outgoing mail, answering the telephone, and a variety of clerical functions in the office including filing, scanning, emailing, and sorting documents alphabetically. Effective communication is an essential part of this position as you will be greeting visitors and informing staff of their arrival. Additional responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Obtaining faxes from machine Distributing mail to appropriate staff Tracking workers who are out in the field Updating information accordingly Compiling emails Attending meetings and taking meeting minutes Completing data entry Utilizing Microsoft Office Applications such as Word (create fillable forms), Excel (create spreadsheets and formulas), and Outlook Join the Blair CYS department and start a new chapter in your clerical career Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
